Waiting for snow and seeing God

I love the snow and I'm waiting patiently for our first real snowfall this week...however I suspect it will probably be just a light dusting. The snow is always so clean looking, and the air is cold but grand and the surrounding sound is....quiet....soft....gentle...wonderful. I'm often reminded of the purity of innocence when it snows. We can see the sun's reflection on the ground and the days are brighter when there is snow on the ground and no clouds in the sky. It gives me a hint of what Heaven must be like, bright, white as in pure and clean, beautiful, soft, gentle and wonderful.

This is how the Gospel of Jesus Christ makes me feel, but I can also add, strong. There is a scripture that states "With God all things are possible..." and I can testify that this is true because when my faith in God is strong, adversity doesn't have a chance to persuade me to be discouraged. I've learned that discouragement comes from Lucifer and my strength comes from God and when I'm faced with adversity my outlook is "With God, all things are possible..." and I sometimes think....it could be worse, I know it could be worse and this is just another bump in the road.

I place all of my trust in God and by so doing, I find that I can even face fear and be strong.
To me, there is nothing more beautiful than receiving the love of my Father in Heaven and from His Son, Jesus Christ and the witness of the Holy Ghost.
