The Children of God

Today....a beautiful day in Church. The Primary Sacrament Program. Filled with music and testimonies of little people who know who their Father in Heaven is and that families can and should be together forever. I was able to participate in one portion of the program where the "Mothers" were to sing from the song "God Gave Us Families". It was precious listening to all those little children.
I missed out on being a child in Primary, however, I've had many opportunities to serve my Father in Heaven and his little children by being called into Primary. From the Primary Presidency to the Chorister and to being a teacher....a wonderful place to be serving.

I am truly grateful to a Sunday School Teacher that taught me so many Gospel Principles and about the Love of the Savior when I was growing up and in the Baptist Church. Mrs. Henderson. I remember her name. I know she has passed on and I just feel that our Father in Heaven has reserved a special spot for her because of the gentleness and kindness she gave her little 'students'. If I knew her first name, I'd check to see if her Temple work was done, but I don't have a clue what her name is other than Mrs. Henderson....and I have no idea what her maiden name was. I think she would have been baptised in the LDS Faith if she ever had the chance, she was just one of those 'knowing' people. I have thought of her often and prayed that she has had the chance to hear about the Restored Gospel. This is going to be one of those times that I will find out after I have passed into the next part of my life.

I'm grateful to people like Mrs. Henderson and to Primary teachers across the world and to sweet kind souls who teach with love to the gentle little souls that we all have been entrusted with here on earth. God bless them all.
