The final facts.....

Well the grades were finally posted online and I did fail math, but it was with a D, a much better grade than I expected. I thought for sure that I got an F. The math Prof said he was proud of me for sticking in the class and not giving up and he could see how hard I was working. I know he could have had sympathy and bumped me to a C-, but he has too much integrity for that and I have too much integrity to ask him to do that. We talked about how I have built a good foundation to repeat the class and most very likely, pass with a better grade than I would expect. It's funny, today, I subbed at the high school, special education, math....and I was actually teaching some of the kids how to do the things that I learned in Mr. Spendloves class. Scary...as a teacher I understood what I was doing, as a student I froze up on the tests in USU and my mind went blank. I will definitely have to change my mind set with the math when I repeat it in the spring.

I am really grateful for the A's in Photography, American Civilization and 19th Century France. I loved those classes.

I finished GG's Christmas present, now I'm conflicted as to which one I should give her, the one of the Virgin Mary and the Christ child, or the one of the cupped hands. I think I'll let her choose.I'm off to bed.I'm tired, have a headache and I'm so ready for sleep....I pray that my legs won't keep me from falling asleep. I sometimes think the Neurontin makes my legs jump more now that I'm used to taking it.

Oh well, something to discuss with the doctor if I can afford to go and see him again.
