Christmas isn't the same

I love this time of year, I love the snow, I love Christmas, however, I miss my family more than ever.
Christmas doesn't feel the same with just my mom and I, but we are all we have right now and that is a blessing.
Today was our Ward Christmas Party....it was a take on The Polar Express, we had a breakfast instead of a dinner and it was so cute. The kids were all in P.J.'s, so were some adults....but I don't have P.J.'s so I wore my jeans. We sat with the Bishop's family. They are so sweet, cute and funny.
I guess, since I can't have my own family around with me, then my Ward family is a wonderful (although not completely the same) replacement.
I love my Ward family...everyone is so sweet.
